Our Approach
Businesses often recognize new markets or social investment opportunities in developing countries. These opportunities can also contribute to the development of local societies, which, according to us, is a prerequisite for long-term success.
However doing business in and with developing countries often goes hand in hand with high risks and uncertainties. A determining factor often is funding and the ability to find reliable business partners.
Fair Ventures is a specialist in matchmaking partners based on reliability and common interests. This has lead to several new joint ventures and public-private partnerships. We often take the lead in developing new initiatives, from formulation of a new project, to matchmaking, financing, and management.
We achieve this through:
- Making use of the potential synergy between Business interests (cost reductions, concretising CSR policy, efficiency improvements), NGO's and governments
- Translating companies CSR policy into concrete and satisfying projects in developing countries
- Making use of existing government programmes or private funds for stimulating investments in developing countries
We have a vast network of contacts with the government, the NGO's, research institutions and the private sector. We mostly work in joint co-operation with several partners.
