Business in Development

• Business in Development Challenge, an international business plan competition for poverty reduction and profit. The first edition was launched in November 2004, with FV being responsible for the entire organisation and format. The 2nd edition was launched in January 2006, and was organized by Fair Ventures as well.

• Bussiness in Development Network, the first online community for SME development and entrepeneurs in developing countries. FV is co-responsible for development and the current functioning of the BiD Network

Sustainable Cocoa

• Cooperative development and sustainable supply chain management in Cameroon. This is a four year project, carried out in close cooperation with a large cocoa processor, an international bank, a cacao production expert and a local NGO.

• "Establishing a Quality Chain for Vietnamese Cocoa" (PSOM Project in cooperation with Advance Consulting). Responsible for the project proposal and project reporting towards the EVD. Read more on this project here

Besides these large projects, FV (co-)initiates projects and facilitates linkages and funding in the field of e.g. agro-forestry and supply-chain management.
